Emily Norton, Founder and CEO of The Main Event, started the business out of her home in Carrollton, Virginia. She began by helping friends and family plan and design parties and weddings out of her home, but demand for her services quickly increased. Eventually she outgrew the humble beginnings of her home office and joyfully opened The Main Event florist and storefront in Smithfield, Virginia. Her business has grown by leaps and bounds, and so has her passion.
